No point… Its out on pc and its the same game, code, engine, Plus with the pc version it will not be long until the super patch comes out that will update rosters kits and names.

It’s safe to say the Xbox 360 version will look good but buy it on the PS2 unless you support Man Utd or Chelsea (cos these are licensed). If I’ve read correctly the 360 version has no edit feature. So you are stuck with what you’ve got by the sounds of it. Maybe Insane can confirm.

The PS2 has full edit so you can change names of players, teams, stadiums. You can also create your own teams and edit kits and players already in game. Plus you can move players around to update transfers (a few big uns haven’t been done – Sorin and Kezman spring to mind) and choose your own international squads.

Not sure about the PC version.

Not convinced about FIFA Insane – I remember playing one a year or so ago and my Bradford City team was scoring 5 overhead kicks a game. Kinnell! Short of a City playing tripping up, breaking both his legs flying through the air and the ball happening to hit him on his shins whilst he did it there’s more chance of me getting abducted by sex mad Salma Hayek lookalike space aliens than seeing an overhead kick at Valley Parade.

SOIA : Yes the Edit feature is in there mate.. I know because I play for Man Utd lol 😀

Fifa 07 : I’ll try it out in a bit, according to reviews the 360 version has had a whole new engine applied and its been built from the ground up.. which apparently makes it a much better, fluent and same as PES footie.. I’ve never been a fan of Fifa football, but I’ll give it a go 😀

i have bought a 360 on the back of pro evo 6

needless to say i have been roped in again by evo 🙁

im dissapointed with this game…..it dont feel much like a next gen step up to me…..dont really look like one either…..well not much from the camera view i play it on it aint at least.

fair enough the cut scenes look tidier graphically……and every member of the crowd can be seen clappin and cheerin now……but i would have expected a big overhaul of the way the game plays.

and it looks like they could’nt be arsed to change anything….except the shooting which has now gone back to being wayward like it was on the early xbox versions.

oh yer course thats right…….i have to buy another 5 next gen versions of this game before i can crash one in from 30yds like i used to be able to do on pro evo 2 on the old ps1……silly me what was i thinkin 🙄

good job i have picked up a cheap copy of gotham 3 on ebay then i suppose

donwloaded the fear demo…..getting fight night now…..ya cant fault the live service the 360 delivers……only problem is i gotta get a HD telly now 🙂

You know there’s really no need to buy a 360 just for pro evo, just wait for the PC version, it looks a lot better too going by previous versions.

needless to say buyers guilt is kickin in nicely now……i have barely been playing any games over the last year since judgeh went to zealand……and yet evo has roped a dope once more 🙄

if i have got membership of xbox live (which i have) for the old machine…..is there any way of transferring it over to the new spangly 360 ??

preferably without paying any extra ??

I believe you have to purchase it on the 360.. but you can recover your old name rfor the xbox by means of recover my old tag :/
