ParticipantI was quite impressed too.
Plays a lot like CoD2 which is a good thing, cos that was good. Think I’ll be getting this.
Was there an mp demo out for this at some point? Was it just tdm or was there more to it than that?

Participantis it just me that was sorely dissapointed with the COD4 demo?
i felt that nothing has been added to the COD series in this installment. its exactly the same game as COD2 with altered graphics.
dont get me wrong i loved COD2 and have played it many times but i do feel that something more could have been done with the game other than what appears as just a reskin job.October 15, 2007 at 12:56 pm #59957Seedubs
ParticipantI quite liked it, seemed to run ok(ish) on my old machine. I know its nothing new, but lets face it, its an old idea, linear mission based fps are old, so what else could they add?
The only other way I think they could improve the format is for destructable buildings etc, but then machines like mine wouldnt be able to play it and they would loose revenue, its all down to money?

ParticipantHippy is right, it’s CoD2 even down to the same old whiny noise when you die. Since CoD2 played well enough though I’m alright with this. Better than them changing it all and arsing it up.
My average PC ran it smooth on almost max settings as well, so just about everyone should be able to run it.

Participantgot mine from newsgroups. Will Deff get this game for the SP but I’m not expecting “the game that unites us” out of this.
I still look at the Raven Shield disk on my shelf and wonder why I didnt sell it when it was still worth a few quid
*notices the Arma disk lurking there and clicks on Amazon.com*October 16, 2007 at 2:36 pm #59962Ryzo

ParticipantDemo is up on Ganershell.com and recently it always seems to have a 1000mb UK line which is never anywhere near capacity so it downloads very quickly.
The new UT3beta demo is up on there as well.
