Good man, what did you get?

As I drunkenly rabled on the ogame chat thing, I managed to get 78% in my Uganda work (70% overall)… a rather comfortable first class (the 78% that is!)…

I am now concidering doing a ‘sponsored work’ (geddit – work… not walk!) for next year – ie people sponsor me to get a first class degree – The same Turks Meister who left school with a C D and E at A levels :)… will expand at a later date.

Wolf, when you say ‘passed’, do you mean as in ‘worked really hard and succeeded on my own merit’, or as in ‘hacked into the board of educations computers and changed my grades’?

    Either way, well done! 😀

Do you fancy a job working down in Exeter?

Well as it was computer science, hacking into the uni computers to change your marks is a first class degree awarded automatically, as long as you don’t get caught!

I got a pass degree, not great as results go but a degree it is, and considering all the crap I’ve had over the past few years I’m just releived to have completed my degree, something I didn’t think I would ever do a couple of years ago!

    Well done Wolf

I ended up with 3rd Class honours because I failed a single subject in my final year 🙁

Should have been more sensible than to pick A.I lol.

Something similar happened to me, I chose to do a project on LR Prser generators, messed it up and it threw me off kilter in my final year, nothing harder than struggling through other modules when your project is going tits up!

    Nice one Wolfie.

Send me a CV and we will keep it in the back of our minds for a bit. Max may need a grad newbie for a bit, and we have a new work experience thing on the go

Wolf, we are not looking for anyone right now, but that may change, espescially for Max’s team. But because you have no (I assume ) experience, your initial best bet may be a work experience type role. I will speak to my boss tomorrow and see if we can wangle anything like that.

Consequently, no job description as yet. But what I can do is look at your CV and make some suggestions, it will also give me an idea of which teams I can approach to see if they have any recruitment plans coming up.
