    I’ve got a Logitech pocketvideo 750 camcorder type thing I bought in 2004 – basically it’s a webcam in a camcorder type handset so you can take it anywhere wirelessly…

    Back when I bought it I used it a fair bit, but it’s been stuck in a drawer for the past 2 years and I’d like to record my dog as she is getting old, especially after she had the emergency operation when she almost died a few months back. Anyhow, I’m having problems with 2 things;

    1: Transflash

    The camera came with a crappy 32mb SD card, but I’ve since got a 256mb Transflash card with an SD adapter. The problem is when I put it in the camera, the camera rejects it and says it needs to be formatted by the PC, but I got no multimedia card reader. Would formatting it work, or any idea if transflash -> SD adaption is not a reliable process?

    2: Bateries

    It came with a rechargeable battery pack which looks like 4x AA batteries stuck together in a mounting bracket with watch type micro screws… but the problem is they don’t seem to be holding a charge or whatever as I can only power the camera by the mains and when it should be recharging, it blinks to recharge but can’t turn the camera on without mains…

    I can’t afford a new camera, or even a larger SD memory stick … TBH it’s a push for new batteries at the moment!! Any ideas?
