roll on driving test 😀November 22, 2006 at 5:35 pm #39991LammieParticipantNice one mate, good luck with the Practical 😀
November 22, 2006 at 5:55 pm #39992XDCsPUNKerParticipanthope you dont get a misserable fecker. You realise they have to fail a certain amout each day. To keep them in a job! 🙄
November 22, 2006 at 9:21 pm #39993XDC-snellParticipantI had some twats when I took mine, including one that got in the car and told me he would only give the instruction once.
Half way through the test I asked him to repeat a direction, left or right at the end of this street. He said that he had told me once and would not repeat himself. I turned left as it was 50/50 and was failed there and then.Cunt.
November 22, 2006 at 9:54 pm #39994XDC MadHippyParticipantWhen I passed my test I certainly got the instructor’s attention. We were driving along and he’s waffling on about banging his clipboard on the dash to signify an emergency stop. Just as he was about to do it an old granny stepped out in the road!. Fookin stupid instructor hit the windscreen as he took his seatbelt of so he could bash the keyboard.
I still passed though 😉
November 22, 2006 at 10:52 pm #39995Mr.FenixParticipantGood luck 🙂
Mate of mine passed his test after spending 25 minutes stuck in traffic outside the test centre.
November 23, 2006 at 12:49 am #39996AlzirKeymasterlol hippy your instructor had concussion obviously….although can you get your money back if instructor breaks the law (i.e. taking seatbelt off, and what was he thinking taking it off before the emergency stop?)
I almost failed mine for hesitancy, ffs, I mean common playing it safe and getting two minors? WTF kind of message is that to send.
November 23, 2006 at 4:06 am #39997AnonymousParticipanthmm theory test ain’t that hard – I had no sleep, no food, no revision, an infection and had to travel to Oldham on the train next to guy who wanted to show me his cock, but I still passed it first time with 34/35 🙂
The only advice I can give you on your practical test is don’t treat it as a test because then you will only get nervous and fuck up. Treat it like you’re out on a sunday drive with a m8 then your worries fly right out the window and you can relaxxx!! The more you think the more you fail, if you’re ready and relaxed a lot of the basics will come naturally to you.
My examiner seemed like a boring bastard but he was sort off unny too – anyone who reaches out to shake his hand after their test he refuses to shake it, then comes up with some bullshit like it would aggrovate an old injury.
Congrats on theory pass and good luck on practical test though 😉
November 23, 2006 at 8:04 am #39998Captain_ChronicParticipantGood luck 🙂

I don’t think seatbelt laws had been passed when I took my test (1988-89)

Right oh 😯
November 24, 2006 at 4:48 am #40003airmessyParticipantPassed mine 6 years ago.
35 out of 35 on the theory and then 6 lessons and i passed my test 🙂
*theory was easier back then. Was just 35 multi choice questions*Learning to drive in llandrindod wells was a piece of piss… There are no traffic lights 2 small roundabouts and only 1 stop sign in the whole town. Bugger all traffic also. 😆
November 24, 2006 at 7:00 pm #40004XDCMouse101ukParticipantWell done mate. As for the practical test i was told just treat it as taking your mate for a lift and relax. It got me through and i hope it does the same for you.
