hmmmm. looks good! I like the sound of this but never played it b4. Should I get fallout 2 or do I really need to play the first one too?
If it’s anything like the first two you’ll be told all you’ll need and won’t have to rely on knowing previous games. Having said that, I’d recommend both Fallout 1 & 2, they’re a bloody good laugh and much fun. I got the US version of Fallout 2 ‘cos the British version had the children removed from it for some reason. Personally I think that nothing beats reliving those heady days of Dunblane by walking into a school room with a mini gun and shredding the kiddies. *sigh*
The original fallout had the best ending aswell, the second one, pretty good, cant see how the 3rd one slips into place
I thought the ending on the fallout was a nice touch although was a little dissapointed with the second, much like hl2 was a let down.
Whatever you do, don’t get Fallout 1 or 2 if you’ve not played it before. It’s crap. When it came out everyone who played it thought it was great but that must have been a good 10 years ago and time hasn’t been kind to it. I reinstalled it last year and bloody hell it was awful. Giant radioactive scorpions for gods sake and the “plot†would embarrass the Madmax films.
It’s officially rated as Anneka Rice because it was worth a go back in the day but you look at it now and although you’d like to do it for old times sake, it just makes you want to get rid and go down the pub instead.
