ok just moved into a nice new flat but dont have a phoneline or broadband yet. whats the best way to do it, get it all with BT or split it with another company. dont need to get pay a connection fee as the line just needs changing into my name.
any help much appreciated.
if you are planning on getting satelits/cable tv then i would suggest either sky or virgin. Sky do a package that doesnt have a download limit and its not judged by a fair use policy either
I can heartily recommend O2 broadband if you have an O2 contract already, the customer support has been top notch, even giving me the superadmin password for the router to sort something out. Great connection too! think it’s actually 12meg (we can get 18 meg) for 11.99 a month because of the O2 pay as you go phone my mum has.
went with The Post Office as it has a nice call package, free weekends evenings, free weekend mobile, free international, 8mbs which is fine as our line can only handle 6.5, unlimited downloads and a few other things including line rental for 25 quid pm. looked at sky and that but wasnt too botherd about the tv stuff and couldent be arsed with the 100 quid set up fees and bt line rental.
will be back online in jan but no pc for games, will have my 360 though if anybodys playing. sorted 😀

seems like a nice lil package tho. bt was trying to get 35 a month of me for a shitter deal. 🙄
