I am trying to get my log in details for 2142 – do any of you guys have me on a friends list in gmae that tells you what my login tag was? Or anyone know how to retrieve details another way?

go to *:Program FilesElectronic ArtsBattlefield 2142modsbf2142Settings
open up usersettings.con using notepad
look for something along the lines of SettingsManager.stringSet GSPlayerName “=XDC= wildeggtamer”hope that helps.

Doh Wet I aint a complete noob in these matters…. this is after a complete reinstall of windows and a HD format. I sold the game to someone and need to transfer the account to them.

had a look around and found a file called gp.info which has my buddies listed but you don’t appear to be one of them doc………….sorry mate i tried! 🙁
Perhaps someone who still has the game installed can have a look at the file in question; go to *:Program FilesElectronic ArtsBattlefield 2142 and look for gp.info. Open it using notepad and the buddies are all listed, perhaps someone will find you in there……….good luck.
