Don’t know what it called round your way ?
Last Friday before Christmas, when all the once a year drinkers, office parties, end of working year, all collide in an orgy of drunken mayhem and violence.

hmm that’s a good point, I think I’ll pass on the night out tonight then. There’ll be so many out I’ll never get served.
i love this night, the once a year taxi users:
THEM:- Can i go to SE11 6PQ……….?
ME:- Errrr, i work better if you just give me a road name……!
THEM:- Don’t you need it for your shatnav ?
ME:- sigh!
Last night wasn’t bad at all, there were more parties last week and a lot less drunks around this morning.

My other great favourite with once a year taxi users:
Them:- Are we going the right way ? This doesn’t seem right!
Me:- Errr, yes! What way would you prefer we go ?
Them:- i don’t know, i’m not familiar with this area, it just feels like we should be heading that way!
Me:- Well we can go that way but seeing as that is West and you live East it probably woudn’t be a good idea!Or the one like the other night:
Them:- Can we go to Signor Sassi restaurant ?
Me:- yeah sure.
i do a u-turn to turn us around.Her:- Where you going ?
Me:- Signor Sassi, Knightsbridge Green! It’s this way!
Her:- i’m sure it’s the other way! go down to the bottom and turn tight!
Me:- errrr, i’m afraid you’re wrong!
Her:- WHAT!!!
Me:- it’s on Knightsbridge Green, opposite Harrods, enter it from Raphael St!
her Boyfriend:- be quiet love and let the fella do his job, we’ve never been to the place and i’m sure he has a good few times!
Me:- **sigh**Still, the public know best! NOT!!
The best one was i had a guy in the back ask me a destination then proceeded to follow it with his iphone satnav prog. Needless to say after he tried to correct me for the 3rd time i eventually went “his way” and we sat in horrendous traffic, found we couldn’t do a particular right turn which has been that way in all the time i’ve been driving (12 years + 3 on the knowledge) and even had it suggest i do a u-turn on a major one way st which he tried to insist i do! I so wanted to kick him out but no doubt he would of reported me! No doubt he’s the same pillock who would call up a radio station and moan about how a cabbie took him the wrong way! 🙄
