Alas if that was the actual title it might have been a good film. Maybe with some kung-fu fucking monk getting his freak on? But nah, this was one of the most gawd awful films I’ve seen. In my defence I’d not seen any trailers or nothing and had an idea that it was sort of kung-fu film. But when the main character is some Tibetan monk who speaks perfect ‘American’, and all the laughable bad guys are under 25, these are all the ingredients you need to make the very pinnacle of shit films.
I made it about 25 minutes in and that’s only because I couldn’t find the remote and was BFBC2 it up. IT does however have one of the funniest lines I’ve heard in a film,
Old scrubber women speaking to some punk kid- ‘…it cannot be! We’ve not a bender in our tribe for a 1000 years.’Obviously this is a kids film. But only for those adults who want to turn their kids into crack smokin’, suicidal, junkies.
I didn’t watch this film as the title made it sound like a cross between ‘Top Gun’ and ‘Brokeback Mountain’.
the anime cartoons are quite entertaining. however what can be done with animation and a series very rarely translates across to a feature length film.

Insane – Not caught the Anime before. Might have a look. Are there still tribes of benders?
ok just to be contrary.. i sat with the kids and watched this… due to this page i was not expecting much but was pleasantly surprised.. i hope there is another.. I want to know what happens next!
