I’ve tried to associate BFBC2 with my steam account, i.e. browsed for the .exe and added to steam, but for some reason Steam just blanks it? It just shows up as an unidentified game listed by its name. BFBC2.exe
Any ideas?
Do you mean it shows on your games list as “unidentified” or does it show as “BFBC2.exe”? I suppose the most important thing is what it shows when you launch the game through Steam though, as this is what the rest of us will see when browsing friends list. If I see you simply “playing non steam game” I’ll at least know it’s most likely BC2, and can message you to see where you are. If you receive a message from steam while in game, it should pop up in the bottom right hand corner, and you can reply by hitting shift tab.
If you don’t have me on your Steam friends list btw, I’m either “olivercloseov” or you can add by email “oliver_closeov@hotmail.com”. You’ll see me on the friends list as Alzir once I’ve accepted your invite.

Cool, as ever the timing’s bad when I’m in rally the troops mode as I have to go home for Christmas. Might get a game over at my brothers at some point, but otherwise I’ll see you from Sunday week onwards.
