They weren’t robbed blind, they were robbed by UEFA’s decision to not want goal line technology, the game has been screaming for it for years, the technology exists (see tennis and cricket) and it doesn’t take long to get a decision.
Idd. Not that football/soccer is that big in here Finland. But fe. ice hockey has goal cams so the refs can check by calling “upstairs” if it was goal or not. Just plain stupidy as the tecnology is there…
also need a sin bin for the players who insist on throwing themselves on the floor at any given opportunity! Give them 10 minutes out the game and let them realise they cannot keep bringing the game to a standstill in the hope of winning a decision.
They now seem to refer to it as gaining a technical advantage, i call it by the old fashioned name of cheating………..and yes i know the Italians are the worst for it!
