Remembers someone dissing a 360 because of its alleged childness.. I rest my case after reading this ultra queer thread!

I dissed the 360. I do have a very compelling reason for doing so however, not because they are childish, but because they are shit.

On with more pressing business, I too have a beta key so I’m looking forward to playing it in a few weeks when I actually get a spare second to myself. I have signed up under multiple e-mail address so if I get another I will post it here and someone else can give it a blast if they want.

I loved lego as a kid and the game actually looks like good fun, I hope it plays as well as they have talked it up.

I’ve not played with lego in a good 4 months now… I’m aff it.

edit. Forgot the most important point there, XBOXs are shit. To get it to interact with my wireles NW, I needed to spend £50 on a microsoft branded component that cost less than £2 to make. The PS3 and Wii come with these built in. Also, why should you have to pay to play your games online? They are shit.

Think you’ll find my Xbox has inbuilt wireless 🙂 annnnnnnnd what gamer with an ounce of a cell uses wireless? I dont even use a wireless mouse, Wireless is a no no for me, cables all the way, unless i’m on my laptop like now which is what wireless is good for, I dont even stream my films to PS3 via internal wireless anymore as thats shit too 😛

People moaning about having to pay to play on an Xbox bores me and its flawed, I guarantee I have spent nothing like what a PC user pays to play online, I paid best part of £200 for console, game and Xbox Live.. now put that against the £350 I paid for a single GFX card.. and well thats all I have to say, I’ve not even touched the case, CPU, Motherboard, Game, Memory, peripherals, HDD, Coolers, Monitor etc etc etc which I will have to upgrade in a year so it will play the next best game that comes out, I’m older and past wasting money I dont really have buying upgrade after upgrade after upgrade like I used too, Thats more than likely why online gaming on PC is probably free to play, and if you think about it, its not really free if your paying to play on an XDC server, to which I did in the past and you probably do now, that was a tenner a month to be exact along with other members, now that works out at .. £120 a year to play a game online, thats ONE game only I might add.. and I’m sure you have to pay to play EVE and WOW.. not that I ever have so could be wrong

So I’m not accepting any lame argument about having to pay £40 a year to game online considering the above 🙂

It is just another long line of reasons why the 360 is shit. Whilst the Xbox live service is a good service, it’s not worth paying for. If the Xbox had similar functions as the PS3 for example (built in wireless from the start, free online services etc) then I would agree that the Xbox is the best console. Obviously, if you have spend £350 on a gfx card, you have some machine on your hands. I spent a similar amount on a graphics card 2 years ago and there is not a single game out that I can’t play on full graphics, with no slowdown, so that upgrade every year crap only applies if you spend the bare minimum on components every time. It is a much better machine, in every sense. It is so flexible, you can do anything on it. Surf the net in a proper browser, do graphics design, 3d modeling, program in any number of languages, burn CD/DVD/Blueray, Store terrabytes of media data, Run virual servers, literally anything. All you can do on an Xbox 360 is play games and chat to friends. So if we’re looking at value for money, a high power PC wins again. If you only use the PC for gaming, then perhaps you would be better with a console. There is truly no comparrison between a console and a PC. Regarding wireless, you are correct, my PC is fully wired, for the xbox, it doesn’t matter. As they are shit.

To sum up my coherant and balanced argument, the XBOX 360 is shit.

Also, Insane, take what I’m saying in jest. I am an asshole wind up merchant who can’t help himself faaaaar to often. I obviously don’t think consoles are that shit since I have all 3, re-read my post and it seemed pretty “dickish” a subject in which I specialise 🙂
