Participantnice one ATI, i know Nvidia have been taking a lot of stick on various forums today because they didn’t get the official Vista drivers out for launch day.
I’m thinking of buying my very first legitimate operating system, well i think £57+vat for the Home Premium OEM version is pretty reasonable.
Now, a bit of advice……can i take it that because i have a AMD64 4000+, 2Gb RAM and a 7900GT, i should go for the 64bit version or better off sticking to the 32bit version?

Participantbeer…hold on for a month or two….a few issues with vista at the mo…plus the feck up with some additions where you cannot reinstall after hardware changes(mobo) but you have to get another copy 😯
tis the inexpensive copys though…let it mature for a bit…for some it runs sweet for others complete shite 😉

Yes I had punkbuster issues because the security level within Vista is quite high, PB was trying to update itself ingame but the OS was blocking the update. All you do is turn off the option within User Control and Hey Presto!

So where you say it works fine, but it has issues.. means it doesnt really work fine
Experts say.. yes EXPERTS not your pink Tshirt wearing fannies.. say its hardly any different to Windows expect for a few graphical changes.. at the end of the day its still Windows 🙂
I’ll be getting it at some point in my life but aint paying nearly £400 for the top version
