I’m with Insane on this one – first place I always go to dload demos and patches is Gamershell. Downloaded this patch without any bother at all.

Ive noticed today that with many the servers Czech and German servers going to v1.05, there’s a much larger variety in missions to play. Of course it does mean that now we have servers full of languages I’ve never heard of, like German.
Fuck, this game is not exactly intuitive is it? I have managed to suffer through the training missions by spazzing my blokey around in an adequate time, etc . . .
But having said that, after flying a cobra about like a blind man suffering from a seizure I was told that I’d passed combat flying with a score of 93% !!!!!!! Standards have really dropped, haven’t they?

tried this online last night, what a pile of crap! first off I have NEVER seen a less intuitive game, spawning as a seagull, I had to be talked through how to actually spawn by Dazzer (I think) and then sometimes it will respawn you normally, other times it will respawn you as a seagull and you have to disconnect and reconnect to play again.
WAs respawned in the middle of a river at one point, without a gun, had to run half a mile to get a gun, and got shot whilst I was picking one up. No offence, but I have never seen a game more in need of a massive amount of work on it’s interface, the only advantage/change over OpFlash is the browser for online play.
Last night was a disaster 🙁 Every time we spawned we got slaughtered 🙁 Bloody AI’s have be given super intelligence and knows exactly where we are each time. I talked through on how to respawn to Mr Wolf which I sympathise with him. He must have thought what the bloody hell is going on.
There must be a way to set the level of difficulty, so with the likes of any beginner can stand a chance to have a decent game. Don’t get me wrong, ArmA is an excellent game and well worth playing. The game has fantastic
sceneries and has a lot of potential to be a great game. Don’t be put off from playing it, as it is an experience not to be missed. 😀
