I wasnt impressed with GITS.. hehe but Talk to me about The Guyver.. not only is he Kick ass.. but he also sounds Like McGuyver! Sweeet!
Insane never and I mean NEVER compare anyone or anything to Mac McGuyver. The guy is a legend. One week he stopped a chemical armageddon with some chocolate bars the next he escaped from some Serbian terrorists by strapping a couple of cruise missiles to a jeep. There’s NOTHING Mac cGuyver can’t do.
He also went through a Stargate as well, I think.
Another series to check out is Last Exile (which crazy ‘ole Jim Cameron has just brought the movie rights too).
I grew up and stopped watching cartoons.
Mmmmghey…
March 21, 2007 at 1:48 pm #49063BakuraVampireParticipantI used to watch Yu-gi-oh, but back when I first started watching it I thought it was Teh Shit! But now it’s just shit, you see what AMerican companies do when they get their hands on them -_-, the minor characters that had a decent sub-plot before don’t have any meaning to the series whatsoever nowadays.
Here’s a list of what I’ve seen:
Naruto (all the Japanese episodes to date + the 1st movie)
Yu-gi-oh (all English and Japanese episodes to date + the Movie)
Ghost in the Shell + Innocence (aka Movie 1 + 2) and the entire 1st and second series)
Cowboy Bebop (The Moive)
Get Backers (All episodes)
Bleach (All Japanese episodes to date)
Grave of the Fireflies (came across it on Channel 4 one night)
Fruits Basket (All of the English and Japanese series)March 21, 2007 at 5:08 pm #49064XDCMADMAXParticipantYU-GHEY-HOE! 😀

March 22, 2007 at 12:29 am #49066XDC_WolfParticipantAkira – OK, but not my favourite,
Cowboy Bebop, loved every second of the series, the film was ok too, although ruined because the guy I watched it with thought subtitles were gay (only option for me with foreign films TBH)
Fist of the North Star- saw a couple on C4, would love to see them all, was ace from recollection.March 22, 2007 at 7:51 am #49067XDCiNSANEParticipantFist of the North Star- saw a couple on C4, would love to see them all, was ace from recollection.
