Ok I’ve done a formation, changed squad to what I want it to be online when I play head to head, all sorted.
Go into a game and it fucks my team up! Puts players in the squad I dont want in the team, really pisses me off, got beat 4 – 2 cause of it as it put nani at CMD!Arrrrrrrrgh… pulling me hair out here.. good formation n all I think :/
Hey mate I feel for you! I have the exact same problem with having alone striker (Tevez) up front on his own! The way it works is you can sort your formation under team settings but this is only for unranked & Exhibition matches not online/ranked matches.(really frustrating I know). This is why I hate being city online ranked because 32 seconds isn’t enough time to sort your formation, take decent players out of the reserves (Adebayor 83!) and set up your first team not to mention free kick takers etc! so, sorry dude hope this helps. 😯
Had a couple of good games (except for lag) against Greavsey last night!
Witnessed the best save ever, he was 2 on one with keeper, keeper went to player with ball, grounded, he passed right to player in 6 yard box, VDS got up ran toward ball, dived at legs and he only fucking scooped it from Tevez’s feet ON THE LINE outwards!!! I was fucking pissing myself! It was truely amazing, unfortunately the highlights failed to let me review and upload!
Also right in last minute of tense 0-0 another great save, tevez clear on goal, he shoots, VDS dives left and left hand palms away for a corner.. superb! Game ends 0-0
Granted the next game, I went one nil up.. then he came back and beat me 3-1.. I think it was the Tevez bicycle kick that did me, My head went up my ass after that! 🙂
Good games mate
Another update sent out last night on the server side. Forum seems to indicate a general improvement to lag matches though most are holding judgement till peak hours 6-11. Haven’t seen too much feedback on 3+ ppl on a team playing. As it’s been the last week we’ve been alright for a few games with just 2 (obviously still getting lag every few games though).
Well another evening of beta testing then on behalf of EA 👿

Lag – OK so this is what you all want to know about. I played 9 games last night with between 1 and 4 other teammates in our Club (during peak time). I got lag for the first game in a 2vs2. I then played the rest of the games with no dashboarding or anything and was fine throughout. Later in the evening Wave lost connection a few times (we had 4 on our team and had lag come and go in those games) Could be the game could be his uni connection. However, Dan also played through some games with us when we had 5 and 4 on and got lag in some of them. Yiddo was alright for the games he played.Oh, personal fave moments of the night. Shed banging in a goal on his debut (then a goal in each of the next few matches). That first game lag causing me to pass to my goalie…who stopped…then turned around after 2 seconds and tapped it into the net. Yid with a rocket shot on his first game and me upping it with a delightful finesse shot from outside the box with the outside of the boot! And the legend Wavy banging them in from anywhere. Chicarito with the golden crosses and some delightful net busters….I’ll leave it there.
Conclusion – Huge improvement. The lag? I’m not sure about, I think some were the game and some were poor connections. If anyone’s on tonight would be good to see? Shame on the results front not counting mind as we racked up a 7 wins on the bounce. I think the main thing is that it was actually FUN last night, more than 2 in a game and some much needed humour again for our FIFA party which has so far been blighted by EA’s awful release.
For the record FIFA is MUCH better that #10. They just need to get the bugs fixed. Will be on tonight if anyone’s on? We’ve Shedlin and Wave back in the team, the goals were flowing like wine!!

hmm EA poor release, never thought those words would appear together in a sentence. What excuse do they use when a game needs patching on a console?
Its not the console that requires patching, its the servers that have the issues, game works fine in SP .. just typical EA server shit as always, was the same for BFBC and BFBC 2 and I’ll put my mortgage on same issue when MOH is released
