Tell me about it. I treated myself to these for xmas:
Despite, my efforts to keep the volume down, unless I have it that low that the surround sound becomes useless I disturb my neighbour.
In his defence, he has put up with it for over a week, but the other night, he came round and asked me to try and keep it down 😕
He’s a good guy and a good neighbour so I felt a bit guilty and haven’t used then since.
So unless you live in a detached house, I’d stick to headphones. Then you can have headphone hair like me 🙄
should be ok – as my room is on the ground floor :)… and they have a fucking dog!… and a motorbike… time for me to get some pay back!
The thought of those logitechs is giving me a raging hardon!
i’ve got a tasty logitech set of speakers courtesy of pharty running on my TV setup downstairs……..a proper 5.1 with a control box with digital coaxial and optical inputs, the sound is fantastic with what ever signal i run through it; be it the DVD or sky box.
On my pc i have a creative 6.1 setup and running them off the Xfi its surprising how good the sound is, you really hear the slightest sounds ingame………….thankfully my office (pc gaming room) is on the opposite wall to my neighbours (sides onto an alley) so i can have the sound turned up quite nicely though the rumble from the sub sometimes upsets the missus!!!! 😆@TurksMeister wrote:

I’m not surprised. They are many, many times more powerful than my speakers which at 60% power, physically make the walls of the house shake (no exagaration 😯 ).
I think with the Logitechs, you will be triggering an earthquake warning in your area and sending your dog loving grebo neighbour running for the hills screaming like a girl 8)
Im going to get them, and that Saitek Pro Gamer Command Pad too (if I dont like it, I can just chuck it on ebay… the saitek not the logitech thing!)
Just wondering, does anyone have a pixmania link/discount voucher or something that can lower the moneys a bit?! Worth a try!
Why don’t you ask Insane if he’d be willing to part with his Saitek command destroyer thing for a few quid. He’s already said he doesn’t use it much, and the money he raises from it could go to the ‘Keep Mike in Art and Tissues’ fund.
And if it turns out that you don’t like it you could pay me to take it off your hands as it would, by then, be 3rd hand and therefore technically salvage.
Because he has the nostradarumus or something… which according to reviews – is shit… where as the Saitek (Made by a completely different company!) is apparently hot shit.

Jesus H fucking christ! I’ve never been so insulted in my life! This is such blatant racism, because I’m part French (through marriage), you Frenchophobe.
It seems that when push comes to shove, we get to see your true colours. Not that I think colour is an issue. It’s not. But anyway, in summary I’m playing the victim card here which means whatever I said before I began making accusations on racism was correct and you’re wrong.

I used the nostromo.. a couple of times.. tbh Its not for me and is sat in my drawer colelcting.. umm nothing cause its in my drawer.. had it been on the side it might have been collecting dust, but me drawers are dust free!
Anyhoos.. I have long fingers so i dint like it.. if i had smallish hands it would be brill!

ummm… Just understood the post you made… but not going to delete it, as I can handle being wrong!
However, if you read the review it says that it got a shit mark because the dudes hand didnt fit on it… and it was more personal opinion… which is just so silly!
How about I get the Saitek, and if I dont like it we can have a selling competition on ebay – whoever sells theirs for the most, wins a night with Max and Ryzo 🙂
get the 5400’s, saves using 3 plug sockets then !
fek the joypad, no one uses em after a couple of weeks..
They just came… and so did I!
Ordered three things – speakers, x-fi and screen wipes… bloody screen wipes came (aha… but I can use them to wipe up!), but not the card… and the bloody wipes are making my screen worse! (They were clean… no jizz on them at all!!)
