Roger Wilco anyone? There can’t be too many voice chat progs we havent used. I do think the release of patch 1.20 is muddying the waters trying to work out if Vent is causing lag. Too many variables.
it caused lag for me on RO and BF2142 before the patch (although to be fair I only used vent on the Dissidents server which was America, but it was still unpolayable). Certainly with RO it was a major source of lag and was next to pointless as VOIP as it would cut out for periods of up to 30 secs and there was no way of knowing. TS worked fine though.
never suffered much from lag on either, nor when i ran both at the same time, mind you i only keep RO/Arma plus neccesary drivers, very few apps…everything stored on other drives, even the page file has its own tiny partition.

Cant say I’ve noticed issues with either TS or Vent.. All your machines are toss!
Time to upgrade, and wolf, time you found a new gaff to live in, I would have jumped up and down on there ghey router by now! controlling c**ts! 🙂
p.s. Wolf, check there rooms for trap doors!! I cant help but think of the clip from Running Scared on this one!

This exactly describes my system and my experience.
Anything with a decent codec is fine by me.
