It was a blinding night and i think everyone enjoyed it, you’re all a top notch set of lads, although i woke at 11am with a fooking blinding headache, the missus dragged my out for something to eat then i fell asleep in the hotel room until 5pm, hence missing half the concert i was supposed to go see, although i made it in time for Queens of the Stone Age, Motorhead and the mighty mighty Foo Fighters.

Top bit of the night?……neon trying ,unsuccessfully, to convince some old boilers we were in fact MI5 agents, and beer was my codename, and as i remeber one of them wanted hippy as her new husband, which prompted calls of time for another pub……run away

You’re right, I was absolutely wankered. Big time. I haven’t been that drunk since I drank a pint of Southern Comfort for a ‘laugh’.
Which was a bit of a shame, because I’d like to have been able to converse without slurring my words or stumbling around. I remember meeting Terry Venables in the pub and being told we were welcome anytime, and that everytime I put my pint down some guy kept trying to take it. From what I do remember though, you’ll all a sound bunch of guys and I had a thoroughly good (if slightly blurry) evening.
So when’s this Northern do that I keep hearing being mentioned?
