Boggle at the goals of the week this week. 4th they had anelka (i think it was) score a volley on the run from outside the box and the the winner was someone that 360’d a keeper outside the box and passed it into the net O.o

Record 65-18-36there are 40 divisions in total……and just to put it into perspective on fifa 10 we never managed to get ourselves onto the leaderboards at all.
last time i checked we were in division 12……only problem is that it is now getting serious…..every defeat knocks big points off…..and you only gain big points by beating teams above you.
a slip up against noobs has serious consequences on our standings…..and we can now also expect new teams to start up designed specifically to take points off the big boys…..ie us.
thankfully though the XDC ethos shines through…..if we win great….if we lose….meh so be it.
the tough part is striking the balance…..we have some really good players who naturally want to win at all costs…..then you have the clodhoppers like myself who if truth be told hold us back from the win at all costs mentality……frustration creeps in with every misplaced pass…..every mishit shot.
Kudos to spacey really who fills the vital ‘any’ role…..we also have some big hitters to come back namely ruislip hornet who used to be our star ‘any’ player…..he should be coming back soon as well to strengthen the squad.
all in all its a gem of a game…..its running well now thankfully…..i continue to hope it never gets that serious that tempers fray……a visit to our front page by all players would be of benefit in my opinion…..it is after all what we are all aboot !!!

I think what works so well for us is that we are such a mixed bag of players. Granted the new superstar Irish signing has taken us a step up a good few notches. Though you can now play league games with just two of you it really is so much more fun when there’s a group in party, the loses don’t taste so sour and the win’s, well they just taste like fuckig gold dust on the togue when we’re all involved!
It’s great to see us just about to break the 4000pt mark as I type this (one more win), as you say Sprog it’s harsh now to lose 50+ pts for a lose though. 5000pts has to be a real possibility for us before the year rings out.
For me, EA have had a decent stab at fixing up their own mistakes, the games run far better now and generally no problems are encountered. I still have my problems on the ANY role as do some of our others. Me – Some dodgy defending from time to time and critical slip-ups, Wave – A little too focused on possesion, Dale – one skill move to many when it’s not required.
Will be great to get Hornet back on and Greaves too.
I think you guys are doing a great job. Probably the only time there’s ever been a consistently functional XDC team across any platform or game. You’re doing us proud!

we took on a keeper last week…..24th keeper in the world !!
found out had hacked and cheated by maxin out his stats
we booted him off the team…..XDC Representin on the 360 !!!
