FUXTIX, it’s official NZ is getting some Booshit edited fluffy version thanks to the censors in Oz. In Oz there is no 18 rating for games so 15 has to suffice. Historically NZ has got the proper worldwide release and pointed and laughed at the Aussies. No such joy this time, prossies removed and replaced by sheep, swearing reduced to Niko did you FUN my wife etc probably….ohh even better no claret perhaps……. So what will really happen?? Everyone will just import from somewhere else and mod their XBoxs or in cases of PS3 it apparently doesn’t matter (but I ain’t buying one of those cnuts). I’m not sure how it affects any future DLC ….well done u dicks. Seeing as I can’t be @rs3d to import it and then buy a modded XBox which will probably get sussed by Live eventually, it’s PC version FTW…stroll on September, NJOI ya full version fellas 🙁

Turks, make sure the wireless doodiddy is compatible with your router, I bought one a while back, wouldnt connect to my wireless router at all, worked on mates fine, who bought it off me for full price luckily 🙂

p.s. Xbox360FTW turks, for DLC and as riz pointed out, ease of use online.. or get both, but ps3 soley for its blueray capability (until MGS4 is out at least) 🙂 Apparently the DLC missions on 360 are an extra 10hours of gameplay! 8)

Speaking of TV, I cancelled the order for the 46 after nom put me off lol
I’m either going to get the 508XD Kuro, or wait till the LX508D comes down a hell of a price (and that JL get them in stock so I can PM them with SnV) I’m concered that the panny is too reflective, and based on the fact my TV will be on a wall facing a window, thats not a good thing 🙁
I really wanted it before GTAIV, but not too sure if its worth an impulse buy… strole on gen 9 of pioneers so the 8’s come down
I’ll have to play it on my 24″ dell for now.. or even my 36″ at 480p 🙂

Nom, you didnt put me off at all, I knew the kuros was the best screen around and was planning on the 508, BUT.. its just the whole 1080p malarky, I know it dont matter but I’d sooner have future proof, but the LX508 is still 3grand, give it a couple of months and I should be alright 🙂

Same here about live, I only bought it for GTA, ran out last year I think and I didnt renew 🙂I was contemplating it, but I’d never get a rest, they nobs I work for couldnt organise a pissup in a brewery so they’d be ringing me all the time trying to get in this building.. tossers!
New Reviews in OXM US and Xbox World 360

Two new GTA IV reviews have surfaced today. Official Xbox Magazine (US) gave the game a score of 9.5 and came to the following conclusion:+ Wonderful environment with gajillions of great things to do.
+ Multiplayer is a deep, terrific addition to the series.
– Would be even better with a little editing: it starts slowly, has a few too many “filler” missions.
Xbox World 360 (UK) awarded it a score of 98%, the highest they’ve ever given out. Their verdict:+ Oscar-worthy dialogue
+ unfeasibly rich gameworld
+ inspired mission design
Both articles are full of story and mission details (you have to finish at least 90 to conclude the storyline, and there are at least 10 moral choices leading to multiple endings), as well as achievement descriptions (like “Warm Coffee” for scoring a date), hilarious easter-eggs (YouTube parody “Elictrictit” has all videos flagged as inappropriate) and quotes (Gun shop guy: “Stay safe, stay Second Amendment.”).
