I own an iPad2,have just bought a new pc purely for BF3, but to my mind if I were 100% certain it would play it on ultra settings I would be on an apple machine no doubt
I wasn’t so I plonked for the pc !
As you know I have zero knowledge about these things, so don’t listen to me at all.
If direct x changes in the next 6 months or some other fucking infuriating nonsensical thing happens that makes my new machine basically game redundant
It will be the last pc I will ever buy……..that much I’m absolutely sure about !!!
Sometimes it feels a bit like buying a juicy fillet steak,and only being able to have a sniff of it when buying a pc IMO
I think you migt be right mate. Maniac has been complaining about performance issues on his mac, but he has fantastic hardware. Games just aren’t designed for macs and no emulator will ever bridge the gap imo.
true, but as Ben points out the Mac is the best thing for his line of work, being a porno producer. They really are fantastic machines for niche areas but they won’t ever be a PC slayer for games, networking, number crunching (unless someone goes out of their way to do something) distributed pragrammes (seti at home, folding, etc.) because there aren’t enough of them and creating software for them quickly is a pain.
