Regarding posting the tupperware woman’s details, I actually agree with Legit. As you know from the thread about Mr Grow-a-knob, I thought it was a pretty shitty thing to do to post someone’s details up on the web just because you had received an email in error.
I backed down on that because I had missed the bit about his details being posted elsewhere. But, you know what, in hindsight I was wrong to back down. Whether someone’s personal details are available elsewhere is irrelevent – in fact, they were only found because of the leaked email. Itr’s still not right that we post them here.
Should I open letters addressed to the previous owner of my house, and then post their details on the web because the address was wrong? No – I write “not known at this address” and stick it back in the post box.
Legit is is a twat for doing the email thing, but let’s not confuse the two.

Now hang on a minute here. I’ve sort of stuck up for Legit in the past because I always thought that he was just some nerdy harmless simpleton who probably got bullied a bit too much at school. But this is different.
I’ve read through this thread and am shocked to read Insanes post. So now I need to apologise for not joining the anti-Legit brigade sooner. I’m really sorry but you have to believe me on this. I genuinely had no idea, really did not know, that Legit was from Rochdale.
I feel terrible, ashamed even. I can only liken it to having just done Lisa Stansfield up the wrong ‘un and she’s bragged about it to all my mates.

Report the shitbag to msn peeps. It’s illegal to hack accounts full stop. How do we know he’s not hacked an xdc account and is using it to read this thread? How do we know he is not hacking other accounts for more dubious reasons? paypal, banks, web subscriptions etc etc

Cracking a mates email account cause you know enough to guess the password is kinda a shit thing to doeven when you can guess, Posting someones details cause you get his email in yours is also not good. Apparently my alter ego hamprecht at my email address is a right proper lothario/lawyer type, but after the first whisky tango foxtrot at reading his email coming to me hampster, it goes stright into the trash.

You can report the fucker to MSN as Hippy says, and maybe even consider reporting him to his ISP, details of which I’m sure can be pulled from the Forums logs.
Another thing, could this have been exploited to hack some user accounts on this site? It’s maybe a whole lot of fuss over nothing, but is there a way to check who has had their password requested from the forum database recently?
The only infomation I had in there was my Newsgroup account login details.. which I better change thinking about it
I thought about reporting him but might have made it worse, he’d probably bare a grudge and as the child he is would probably do something which would make me wanna “Chat” to him a bit more if you get me
I’ve just left it, I had a moan on here, I cant tell you how fucking mad I was when I found out.. but I’ve decided its best to ignore him, I’ll NEVER reply to a post of his again and as far as I’m concerned he doesnt exist.. I’ll never ever trust him, I can do without “Friends” like that..
My advice to you all is to do the same.. He’s proven that he’s a cock and that he cant be trusted
