ParticipantToo busy writing essays at the moment, to think about anything like that!
Im not too sure what to do. I love my current monitor (19` samsung) but am very tempted by the old 24` gubbins, for watching films, and making movies, and perhaps games if I ever get back in to them!
Problem is, the 24` is a big investment for a luxuary upgrade, and would eat up all my birthday money…
So sticking where I am for the moment.
Also looking to get a new keyboard… vaguely tempted by the G15, but not convinced, and think the gay lights under the keys would piss me off. Might go cordless… hmmm.

Participanttoo busy lol!! but have your finger on the xdc forum refresh button!! lol..
yeah the 24’s were a bit pricey for my liking. i went for the 20 coz it was a decent price, and has higher res than the 19’s. will do me for about 5 yrs i rekon. anything is better than the 17″ dell i borrowed from work.. hehe!!

ParticipantWell I need a break every now and again, but not to the extent of deciding whether to spend more money than I earn in a year!

I have just bought a G15 and they are great, and you can turn this backlight off is you so desire by a press of a button.

ParticipantOoooo
sounds good… although I think I may try and strike adeal with Insane for his nostradrmus thingy… he says they are crap, but could mean I can get a wireless keyboard, and clear my desk a bit.

ParticipantOther than not being able to plug a console in to the screen, or have a card reader, is there anything else different from the Dell? Or Less good – Im pretty close to snapping this up!

all the review i have read about it says that its a great monitor. as i said earlier i was going to buy this one but got bored waiting for it to be released so paid the £80 more for the dell and got it immediately. so if i want an impatient git i would have the samsung without a second thought.

ParticipantJust wondering – what is the height and width of a 24` screen (viewing area)?
Cheers
