hmm maybe i’ll get this after all if the performance has improved. How was your performance though during beta Beer?
October 28, 2013 at 6:05 pm #85690XDCMADMAXParticipantthis cunting game is still greyed out ffs! ahhhhhhhhhh 👿 👿 👿 👿 👿
October 28, 2013 at 6:39 pm #85691XDC wild egg tamerParticipantMax i’m feeling your pain brother. Just got home having left it downloading (was at 75% when I left) and expected to fire it up only to now find that it’s not showing on origin even though the files have all been downloaded!
Like yours it’s all greyed out but the daft thing is have the files downloaded! I’ve tried clicking on the bf4.exe but no luck there either 🙁
Now trying to connect via VPN again but they’re all full.
Damn you and your curses max 👿
October 28, 2013 at 6:57 pm #85692Beer_MonsterParticipantMatt, it’s definatly WAYYYYYYYY better performance than the beta, no question.
October 28, 2013 at 7:22 pm #85693XDC wild egg tamerParticipantstill not having any luck with this ffs. I don’t understand how I can have all the files downloaded but not run the game! I’m trying to connect onto a VPN but they’re all full at the mo. Hopefully i’ll get logged on one and then see if I can run the game that way.
Any other ideas chaps?
October 28, 2013 at 7:34 pm #85694Beer_MonsterParticipantI waitied for the clock to countdown on the Korean server, then clicked on timer, it took my to my battlefield icon in My games and i clicked on play.
Took me to battlelog, I logged out of VPN and hey presto.
Only thing is you have to start battlelog from the Korean Origin each time you restart the PC.
Sucks, but I can live with it til Friday 🙂
October 28, 2013 at 9:07 pm #85695airmessyParticipantMy download fails to resume when i disconnect from the vpn 🙁
October 28, 2013 at 9:11 pm #85696airmessyParticipantAh ffs can only login to vpn 3 times a day on a free trial :(!
October 28, 2013 at 9:39 pm #85697XDC wild egg tamerParticipanthad the same problem messy. I’ve connected to a proxy by going internet options, connections tab, LAN settings and selecting the proxy server box. go to http://www.proxynova.com/proxy-server-list/country-vn/ and find a proxy either in South Korea or Vietnam and connect that way.
I’ve managed to get that far and origin allows me to fire up the game but i’m now running into another problem which is that it doesn’t recognise my product key and says the game requires activation.
wtf is going on!
October 28, 2013 at 9:57 pm #85698airmessyParticipantsorted it. found another vpn. started download and exited vpn and origin is ripping the game down at 5mb now. 2 hours 30 to get the whole thing 😀
October 28, 2013 at 10:11 pm #85699XDC wild egg tamerParticipantgood luck mate. I downloaded it fine, I have the files sitting there all Purdy in my SSD. I can even go into origin and fire the game up and get into battlelog. The problems start when I select a server or test range and it takes me to this page:
http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/820/enk8.jpg/
if I enter my activation code I then get this page:
http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/707/47s1.jpg/
I’ve tried both connected to a VPN and not and whatever way I try I can’t get passed this stage.
Any ideas you techies?

just noticed this one. 🙄
October 28, 2013 at 10:16 pm #85701XDC wild egg tamerParticipantcheers occa, i’m giving up on it now and will wait it out until Friday…………………hopefully it will work then 😯
October 28, 2013 at 10:20 pm #85702OccaParticipantTo add on this this.
One of the main reasons why EA doesn’t advise VPN use is because it can compromises accounts. The user’s information once on a VPN is available to whomever runs the VPN. If you do use a VPN to gain access make sure you change your password immediately after you have unlocked the content and disconnected from it.
picked this too… hopefully your pw hasnt been stolen x)

that’s going to be difficult to explain if that’s the case! 😯
