August 13, 2009 at 7:15 am #73111TurksMeisterParticipantTurns out I wasn’t allowed to play, and she is now not talking to me… Good times! Should be on over the weekend though… Can anyone suggest a good cheap headset so I can speak to the doc keister without using headphones as a mic?!
August 13, 2009 at 7:37 am #73112To0THBRU5HParticipantYou need to let her know where she stands. XDC>You. Bitch!

I use these now. Really like em. None of that USB virtual shit – and dont break after a few months like the medusas used to (lot cheaper as well.)
Only down side is they forgot to put an inline volume control on them – which is bloody stupid but not a deal breaker.
Oh and re the girl – go grow some balls! Wheres soia? he usually has a good take on how to approach the female mind 😀
September 3, 2009 at 2:59 pm #73114TurksMeisterParticipantRandom Question… the 4890 has 2 DVI slots – does that mean I can use 2 monitors?
Was also wondering what monitors people are using… I have spent about 4 weeks searching through the sub £350 ranges, and keep getting back to the Samsung T240HD, but not sure whether to commit – any suggestions to look in to?

October 30, 2011 at 1:22 pm #73117TurksMeisterParticipantSo… would this pc play BF3? I dont play games enough to warrant an upgrade so its this or nothing!
Graphics ATI 5890 or something?! Doc told me to get it.

October 30, 2011 at 1:50 pm #73119AlzirKeymasterI was surprised by this, and don’t completely believe it, but the internet says this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v7jO4gXqqL8
I’d have thought you’d need a quad core at least to play this, as per EA’s recommended specs, but you may be able to get by.

January 26, 2012 at 12:16 pm #73122TurksMeisterParticipantHey chaps. I have now had this PC for two years, and it is serving me well in terms of what I need from it, but wouldnt mind loading some BF3 maps a little faster – Would more RAM do that? I have 4GB, and I think my MB has another 2 slots… what would you suggest?
I am about to do a big reformat and keep hearing people talk about solid state drives… would anyone reccomend swapping to one of those, and having the 1.5tb drive for storage? IF so, how much would that sort of thing cost?
cheers

Go for this and your among the 1st ones on the server. Ofcourse theres also 60GB vertex too if you dont need so much room for your games etc OS. And keep the 1.5TB for pr0n etc storage 8)
