but once u get to grips with how people play you really do see the advantage of having extra people who’ve got the improved BAPs.
I’ve always seen the advantage of improved baps.

I swear it doesnt contribute when playing exibition, probably wrong but I remember doing shit loads in an exhib and getting feck all for it.. unless that was because at the time i didnt have semipro checked..
I’ll have a 20 min game later, before the manc derby, although as a striker, I prolly wont get in you’re team now as the ringers appear to have become Man City! 🙂 lol
Unlocked a few attribs last neet as a defender, some of them are just ridiculous! Will crack at it though
The 8 headers one is simple….go as left back….and play chipped passes with your centre back out to him on the left

hard as feck to get headed goals, dont get many opertunes for them tbh, blokes never in the right place at the right time
Im on about 20 headed goals at the moment…your right its tough to crack that one….perseverance is the way forward….you stand a better chance of headed goals in ringers games as we can tee you up for them.
the really hard one is getting 3 diving headers….i havent had a sniff of a diving header yet and i have played nearly 500 games…..again its just a case of sticking with it.
one thing i would say mike is that as you do pull of the accomps….the improvement is really noticeable each time you do one….spacey for example can sprint past full backs and leave them for dead as he is 95% complete on his accomps……ya just gotta stick with it is all…..sure its frustrating when your man gets the ball and gets knocked off it at the start….but as he progresses you will be pulling moves in game that make the effort worth it.
truly….pulling off a team goal where everyone is involved in the move and it ends up goin in the back of the net…..is probably the best gaming experience i have ever had…..and i include dropping bombs on tanks on el alamein in that summary !!
stick with it….keep pushing…you will be comin off the ringers bench in no time !
Ent to play last night but found I was now on Silver membership. Can someone advise, is this because I paid on mates c/c then when I removed the card I lost all services attached to it? Paid out another fiver on my own card today so all set for some Ringers action this evening!
Makes a nice change being able to sprint pass people. Think I’m gonna stick with my guy at 5’8 as he still just about wins the odd header too.

Another day….another new signing for the ringers…..superyiddo….work colleague of mine.
transfer fee was my copy of MW2 on the 360 so he could chop it in to use against a purchase of fifa 10 on the 360.
his stats were pretty much maxed out…but only on the PS3….so i had to use my persuasive skills to lure him back too the 360….after some frantic last minute trading…..tommy potter….AKA superyiddo signed on the dotted line.
expect a 20-24 skill level player…..competant enough to take the any role if required.
the ringers go from strength to strength !!!
sure is fella….when you go to your accomps stamp book type thing…..and you scan over the ones you have’nt yet completed…..if you press the blue button it lets you know what you have left to do to pull the achievement off.
for eg……i need to pull off 100 sliding tackles….im currently on 77……i play a game in defence make some slide tackles and then check in to see they have registered…..i then save the profile when i come out of the game to make sure it overwrites the previous save.
so you can see and check your progress as you go along…..keep checkin em….keep attemptin to beat em….get the rewards…..and you will notice it next time you go online.
even better within the ringers menu…..you can check and see every squad players accomps who has joined the club…..im not really a massive stats whore…..but i have fallen for these ones…..they are great…..me and spacey are in a ‘most goals for the club race’ at the moment……hornet danny and dodgy dale are in a race to see who can go the most games unbeaten……it all adds to the addiction once this game grabs ya.
that lil fugger spacey is online now….banging in goals…..catching me up….and im banished from the xbox cos the missus is watchin a film !!!! bah !!! 😡
oh….quick update on the player we ‘fucked off’ XCS lee
spoke to him last night…..and cleared up the confusion…..told him it was his constant chatter in game that did it…..not as he suspected as a result of him beating spacey in a friendly 3-0
he was ok about it….still wants to join the ringers….and will turn his mic off to do so if required…..cleared up a bit of confusion for him though…..poor fucker did’nt have a clue why he got kicked….and his mate waveydavy who he introduced is still a part of the ringers….damn good player too boot !!! potential star striker 🙂

In shock this evening, Insane bagged a hat-trick! I think he’s caught The Ringers bug now as even he’s been caught uttering those famous words, ‘Ah might as well play one more game…’
Played some blinders tonight with Dodgy Dale and I both putting in some runs as ‘any’.
And another new sign-up PrisonedGibson! One of Hornet’s mates. New to Fifa 10 but def a good play and already working hard to improve his BAP.
it looks like the ringers are now in a position to play rolling games…..with players rolling in and out all the time……excellent news…..the trickiest part has been getting 3 together to kick start it.

There we were, 3 Ringers lined up ready for battle, Wavy, Gibson, and me in any *gulp* This was our for 8th unbeaten game (though there was a draw in there somewhere).
The whistle blew for kick-off!
*groan*
They’d bagged one and the clock had only just ticked past the 3 minute mark…
But The Ringers don’t give up so we brushed ourselves off ready to get stuck in again.

They bagged another 2 and I’m pretty sure the clock had only just ticked on past 25 minutes.
3-0? Pah! We laugh at 3-0. Ha, err?
They then scored ANOTHER! Rumours were starting in the crowd that maybe I’d taken a bung?
4-0 down and we hadn’t even got in for the half time oranges yet that we sent Lammie out to get! The other team were toying with us now taking 40 yard Hollywood shots at our pathetic excuse for a keeper.
The heads were dropping but we plugged on. Time was ticking by but then! A sublime ball through the middle by Gibson cuts out 3 of their midfield into the feet of Wavy ‘Thunderboots’ Davy who powers it past the keeper from outside the box!
The halftime whistle blew and we walked off the field feeling somewhat dejected.Very possibly the team that came out in the second half weren’t the same team as the players that reappeared were vintage Ringers. Why do I say that? Because as the 50 minute marker passed, in the words of Marxius Arrillious (or however you spell it?) we unleashed Hell!
Bam! Another flyer from Wavy 4-2.
2 minutes more pass. BAM! I get involved in the action an grab one for the team.
BAM, BAM! Gibson with a brace! In the space of 10 minutes we’re now now leading by one!
And the good times kept on coming. Another goal for Wavy only a few more minutes later. And another for Gibson. And yes, even another for me with my two left feet! 4-0 was now 4-8! Would you adam and eve it!
We took our feet of the gas at this point feeling almost guilty for the battering we were handing out. They scored a 5th with 3 minutes to go but by that time the game was dead and burried.And altough it shows our best unbeaten as 6 now take a look at the results and there’s 9 without defeat. Come on your Ringers!

I nearly bagged 2 hatricks on the bounce, got 3 in first game in months of playing with the ringers, got 2 the next and scored every other game after that.. go me.. we were hammering some team at one point, think it was 3 nil at the time, then team decided to take foot off the gas, I advised we need to be 10 in front before we can do that, we drew 4 -4 in the end.. gutted but lesson learnt
my bap is coming along nicely, think i’m 50%, got a long way to go but have been playing as defender to try and get me up to scratch so I dont get barged off ball easily, I’m a target man now too, play it up if playing against midgets and I’ll head it on.. works when people get behind me when I tell em 🙂
Am enjoying it again, my player even looks like a pro now, popped me gloves on last night as it was a bit chilly, donned some fine red studded brogues also, giggity!
QQ – In order to obtain some of the achieves, for one instance the “beat someone online with less ranked team”
Do i have to transfer my BAP to there team in order to get that, then transfer him back once finished or is there a way to add you’re player pre kick off.. is this even an acheev? I recall it but might not be one that gives your player skillz etc..
