Pc isnt dead, people just wandered off. Sorry I’m never going to console I’ve had both ps3 and Xbox 360 and they are shit, ps3 just bores me and the xbox just keeps blowing up.
I think COD 4 did for XDC basically people were waiting for something after battlefield and tried this, Like myself it was only after a while that it was actually a very poor multiplayer game as with the last one. Another Console friendly game. The only thing that will kill the pc scene is the players impatience.
Too many people were trying too many different games. I think I see Maxine and AL playing EVE from time to time, but mostly I’m still playing on the MG server for 2142 waiting for 1943 to come out on pc.oo oo had a few hours on it last night, Its fecking great! The DD surround sound (on my system anyhoos) is superb, I hactually shat meself when a really chunky sounding P49 (or whatever they are) flew over my head, It made me jump.. the atmos is great, the air raid siren when the bombers are on the way adds to it.. for 1200 MS points this is the dogs nads, If only they had made a full remake of BF1942 like this, I shit you not you would love everything about it!
Its well balanced too, and the infinate ammo/health is surprisingly ok, but as will all console FPS I long for a mouse and keyboard, and you lot with our own server again and TS!
I reckon if this is as good on the PC as it is on 360, you all must buy it! Takes you back to where online gaming was sexual
I’ll deffinatly get it on PC too if you all do, hell i’ll probably get it even if you dont just to play it with KB/M, but something tells me you will.. ok some who prefer realism (like me) may think its shit (I dont) but it puts the fun back in the word.. err.. game!?
The should fuck BF3 off and just remake the whole of 1942 except not as dumbed down i.e. 3 classes.. regardless of modern warfare weapons etc, this 3 map (plus bonus coral sea) game is proof there is still life in WWII, Proof is that so many people bought it they had to add a shit load more servers because of its popularity
I give it a 9/10
p.s. PS3 is only boring for games, if you use it to stream Films/Music play Bluray on huge 50″ Pioneer TV , its the dogs ghoulies!
360 as space mentioned, is superb and ease of use makes me play this for now

They have taken 3 maps from an 8 year old game
They have taken the engine from a game released last year
They have chucked in countless other unoriginal stuff… 3 classes? about 3 types of vehicles…
Granted its only a tenner, but its not really gripping… I ranked up about 5 times last night… and got nothing for it!! Will be bored of it in a week!Looks pretty though 🙂
And why so much hatred to PS3 gaming? Cant see how its any different from Xbox other than the controller…?!

So basically you really just hate the fact you can’t adapt to different controllers… Probs because you’re getting on a bit!!
That said, I am edging towards getting an xbox, just so I can play games with you losers! How many xdc xbox players are there?

Well I have both and I prefer Xbox due to its controller and nice online mode 🙂 .. oh and the massive range of games and people I know having one = FTW more!
Not really turks, I’ve never liked it since the first ever Playstation which I might add i bought on the day of release, and lets face it, It’s never changed since, except it has 6 axis.. oo exciting, even though they stole that idea from Nintendo.. they should have nicked the gamecubes controller if they were to nick anything I say! Even that was better
As a streaming/bluray device, it pwns the xbox though!
p.s. I was tempted to buy that Killzone n all, but you couldnt even reconfigure the darn controller to how you liked, which made the PS3 even worse for gaming in my eyes.. I might try that blokey tombraider game.. fark i forget its name, drake something.. the demo of that was ok.. I think 🙂
I think you’re the only one who hactually plays games on PS3 out of us lot, except recoil, but you hardly ever see him.. I count 8 people having a 360 out of us lot

good few games last neet sprogglies, unfortunatly the fecking thing locked my console up *as i’ve read it doing unto others before* so i went for my tea, then I watched The Watchmen which I thought was shit so i should have come back 🙁
p.s. Might just get my first full PS3 title afterall..

Have to say it’s a real shame the way the PC market’s going. Online Battlefielding with some TeamSpeak banter’s going to take some beating! I just like with the 360 simply switching on and off I go. None of this messin’ about with settings crap and rarely receiving a crap connection (though I have now got 50mb fibre optics which probably helps 🙂 But I’ll probably pick up the PC version too if it looks like everyone else is?
Turks, if you’re thinking about getting an Xbox get one with a 60-120gig hard drive.
The DVD drive on the Xbox is cheap, nasty shit and on a good day sounds like a jumbo jet with it’s engines on fire. On a bad say it’ll just give you disc read errors on games.
With a big hard drive you can install your games onto it and it’ll probably help your Xbox last more than 3 months before dying. Because unfortunately the rest of the Xbox happens to be made from cheap nasty shit as well.
