Been having alot of fun with BF1943 over the weekend even with struggling using a pad, can’t wait for the PC version in Sept.

why aren’t people getting this for the PC? XDC is dead, death by console.
simple reason really…..my pc wont run it….and i dont fancy upgradin only for my pc to be redundant again in 6 months time…..its ok if you are a scientist boffin type…..but there are people out there (myself) who turn into homer simpson dreaming of donuts at the mere mention of gigglybites and other such stuff……it just dont rock my world….never has…never will…..i wanna plug and play and thats it !
problem is i fancy pluggin and play with me old 42 muckers at XDC….and at the mo its slightly problematic !
judgeh….fancy comin back to do an upgrade ?? 🙂
£12 but presume there will be extra content to buy… clever clever!
hopefully so….i will gladly pay another £12 for for the african campaign…..and another £12 for the russian maps……at the end of the day £40 squiddles for the amount of hours fun you can have its a snip !
Anyone else pickin’ this up? Was good to jump on a sever and run about with Sprog and Insane this evening. Having to get to grips with the speed a little after playing the manic COD. But yeh, it’s a good laugh. Would be even better with a bunch of us. Agree with Insane about the sound effects. Sounds like my house is under attack with my 360 hooked up to my separates system.

I shouldn’t worry about that Sprog, my Pc must be 4 years old now and it still runs everything. Everyone does games for the Xbox, so no flash new games for the PC for years.
Which is a good or a bad thing depending on how you look at it.
Anyhow, no way would I get this on the Xbox. BF BC was okay but nothing special. But it’s main problem was the fact that playing an FPS on that bloody controller was painful and unsatisfying, like wanking with a headache (don’t give me that – you know what I mean).
No engineer class either, so doubtful I’ll get it, unless the PC version costs £3.78 or less.
