Yea that guy on smoke screen was ridiculously good, and we couldn’t even find where he was when Jonny and me went up in a chopper ourselves. People like that are the reason I’ve been preferring infantry servers lately, and certainly avoiding maps like Kubra Dam, Gulf of Oman, and Dragon Valley where air power dominates.
I wonder how they’ll address the air power imbalance in Bad Company 2, it’s a been a constant irritation in the BF series and they really should have a look at it. Double the time it takes for aircraft to respawn, reduce the ammo, and/or make them more vulnerable to small arms fire/give us portable AA like in vietnam (only make it easier to use).

Same as the first I guess, only one (I think there may be one a side but never noticed tbh) heli depending on map and who is attacking / defending in the Gold Crate game mode, oh and AA, can honestly say I got killed about max of 10 times in around a years gaming that I can remember, its just not an important issue in BC.. no planes in BC either so thats not an issue at all
Johnny and I were doing alright in the heli’s last night, although I think I was a tad lucky not to crash into trees on a number of occasions, I figured that Johnny would assume it was skill!
played for about 10 mins tonight on that noobs r us server, i had loadsa probs with PB but i think ive got it sorted now! alzir was pretty much leadin the way at the top and i was proping everyone else up!
I never was very good but, over 3 years absence, not remembering what key did what (i kept pressing shift to run, think i was still in Boarderlands mode!), not realising how to change the unlocked weapons and never playing the map before probably……. hmmm probably made no difference TBH, i was as good as i ever was!!

Was good to see you stella’s, just a pity we couldn’t get on the same side for long enough or in the same squad 🙁 PB’s been a bitch to most of us since reviving the game, but a manual PB update sorts it out…if not ask Max how he gets around it 😉

also that noobs r us server doesnt seem to respect keeping a squad together in the next round as one of us always seems to get thrown onto the othert side 😕
Sorry couldnt stick around too long yesterday as Id had a tooth out and the anasthetic wore off mid game so Bed was the best solutionnoobs r us are a bunch of cocks …..been kicked 5 or 6 times now…..generally when i have killed a member…. 🙁
It’s extremely frustrating that you keep getting kicked nom, especially with some of regulars getting away with blue murder considering the rules they’re trying to enforce. I don’t think anyone with our tag has been kicked without it being a mistake. The only way to fix the situation would be speak to them via their forums, but could you be arsed? Sadly that’s what we’re reduced to without a server of our own.
The autobalance is a pain in the arse, and seems to affect you more than most Jonny, though Paddy is often swapped as well, but I don’t think it’s a server setting?
