    Hi guys, quite a few of you were having problems with the redirect from our server today.

    To add to the problem you couldn’t access our website either LOL.

    Just been investigating why the redirect was playing up yesterday (3K download speeds) and why alot of people couldn’t access the website.

    Siteground, the people we have our webspace with have said this:

    Important Note:

    This is the final and and official SiteGround statement for the issues that occurred earlier today with your host server.

    The issue itself relied beyond ours and our Data Center’s authority. It was caused by a connectivity problem with one of the main upstream providers of our data center. We in cooperation with the data center’s top technicians however did our best to bring an alternative connection route in action as quickly as possible and make your website accessible again.

    This operation was successfully completed by our technicians just minutes ago and the necessary reliability tests were performed and successfully passed. Currently no problems whatsoever are present in terms of server accessibility.

    We would like to to thank you for your understanding during this short-term outage.

    So providing we dont have any more problems I’ll put the slow download speeds and dead website down to that.

    I’ll monitor the situation and if it happens again, look into it further.

    new official PC maps out later months, one called .. errm.. shit I forgot its name, anyhoos.. its all bushy and outdoor and big, looked great when I watched it on GamerTV earlier

    Yeh, i was looking at the xbox screenies, they look nice, bit rough how the consuls get them first though, no fair! 👿

    Just as an informational, I shut down our server untill around 2.30pm today. I have changed some of the config settings and want it ti register with the master server list.

    Hi Guys, the final version of a new custom map was released a few days ago and it is now running on our server.
    Mouse had a quick look around it with me today and it looks cool.
    This a strong contender in the competition that the burg map has entered. it’s quite dark in places but very moody and atmospheric. It still remains to be seen how stable it is with more than a few players on it but it’s worth checking out.

    Some of the old timers like me will no doubt remember the next map I have put into rotation “Bridge”.
    This was one of my favourite maps in the old MOHAA game and is a faithful remake of the same.

    It’s set to TDM and I think will be good for a laugh if not a little nostalgia in the short term.

    TBH, you should be able to download from the game. I just downloaded the map in about 4 minutes, but obviously this depends on your connection 🙂

    Yeh it was cool, I’m afraid you lot wore me out towards the end. I was falling asleep in front of monitor.

    But a good nights gaming indeed.

    The burg map was quite intense at the end. I haven’t played it in TDM mode before and it was surprisingly much more sneaky than when playing FFA.
    But still fun all the same. managed to not get knifed by that sneaky git wolf last night.

    I do remember an incident with Turks that you couldn’t have planned if you wanted to where he was up in the castle turret, I threw a grenade aimed at the window to the room he was in, missing hoplessly.

    The grenade bounced off the wall and began to descend back down to me.
    I ran of arms waving and screaming like a girl trying to avoid it whilst at the same time Turks dropped down and filled me full of led only to be killed by the grenade I had just thrown at him, which had missed, bounced off the wall and began it’s descent around the same time turks jumped out of the window.

    You probably had to be there but it was absolutly priceless. 😀
