… Samsung Monitor.. Sorry Lis!
anyhoo.. ive had the 20inch samsung for a couple of week.. and its just started making a humming / gauzy noise.. loudest when it first detects digital input when the pc posts.. anyone have this? is it normal? or an RMA jobbie?

Certainly not normal -never heard a TFT make a noise like that. 😕

hmm.. ill drop em a line see what they say. overclockers have a good rep, they should replace it i rekon.
wipers.. or anyone.. i noticed that the buzzing and other noises only happen if im using the custom settings, if i use one of the presets all is quiet.
should i still rma??
Send it back, I’ve got 2 TFT’s and they make no sound, unless I turn the speakers on ?
Does it have speakers ?I’ve got the same monitor Chaos and I don’t get any strange noises from it. Sounds like it might be the transformer or something if it’s a buzzing noise. Give Overclockers a call.
