Hai Guys…
My pc has been having several issues of late, every now and again i would be in the middle of a game and boom get two white screens and i’d have to reboot.
Sometimes i’d have to leave it 5 – 10 mins to reboot before it would come back up.
Now for some reason i get nothing on boot just two dead monitors that have the no signal pish popping up.
I can’t even get into the bios or anything else.
The keyboard lights up and i can see the fans spinning and the hard drives kicking in but nothing on the screen, there is no audible warning from the mobo.
The last thing that i did the other night before turning it off was update the GFX drivers.
Now I think my GFX card has decided to give up the ghost, and i was gonna pop round to Maplin round the corner and pick up a cheapo gfx card to test it but thought i’d post on here before going to spent my hard earned cash haha (sorry i cant keep a straight face “Hard earned” my arse)…
You guys got any thoughts?
P.S need it fixed for Sunday as the new minecraft update comes out then and i aint missing it…
by any chance are you running Nvidia cards? the reason i ask is that i had similar problems about a month ago. i eventually solved it by finally getting into windows in safe mode, uninstalling the drivers and reinstalling the old ones.
my pc would not boot into windows outside of safe mode, and would only boot to the boot options screen about 50% of the time
Its an ATI…
I can’t even get to the options to boot in safe mode, i get no screen activity what so ever, not even POST shows up nothing…
