Wasn’t around on Sunday night I’m afraid Doc.
Is anyone around this week? I’ll be about on Thursday for some BFBC2 action, hopefully from about 8pm onwards. Anyone around to make up a little XDC squad?
Right well I’ve now decided not to bother with 2142 anymore basically due to all the idiots that now play it, Is this worth the price of playing?? I had it on the xbox and it was ok…ish but I need a new fps to start playing..
Hi Signal. I’m very impressed with the game (less so with the players on some servers). Seems that you have to play the game a lot to unlock all the weapons and equipment that give you an advantage. Going toe to toe with a guy using an M16, red dot sight, with marksmanship skill and magnum ammo will just end in your rapid demise if you’re just starting out, even if you’ve got ‘teh skillz’ from other FPS games.
As for cost, well my copy cost £12.99 from Amazon, so I reckon that’s well worth the hours of gaming you’ll get from it.
On the downside you will become enraged during game play. I thought I’d kicked that habit. I haven’t 😯
Hated it on the xbox, love it on the PC. I dunno there was just something lacking in the xbox version for me. Something about the slower pace of the game? *shrugs*
I’ll be about Thursday evening. I’ll jump on TS from 8.
I’ll hopefully be online tonight from about 8:30pm onwards tonight, so if anyone is around we can do a couple of maps.
Alright folks, I’ve got this up and running now properly, and really enjoying it. Still learning the maps, and still getting my ass handed to me in most firefights, but I’ll get there 🙂 If anyone’s up for a game, I’ll be about this afternoon on Steam and TS. I’ll be willing to give it a try during the evenings, but my ISP has gone seriously downhill the last couple of months and I’m getting some desperate lag issues after 5pm. It’ll probably not make much difference to my play mind you 🙂
