well lets hope they ditch modern and go back to WW2, people complained with some justification (i guess) at the time that so many FPS games that were being released were set in WW2. We’re now in the situation that practically every FPS out there is set in modern warfare.
I may not even bother upgrading my pc if BF3 isn’t WW2, i’ll move over to the dark side and buy myself an Xbox. 😯

I cant see it being WW2 themed at all, most forum threads I read these days, people want modern unfortunately 🙁
I hope it’s not WWII, to be honest, I’m all WWII’d out. I think I’ve played so many games based in that time period I’m not sure I could stomache another unless it was exceptional. If it’s just an updated map and graphics pack with the same gameplay/engine as BFBC2, I can’t see it being good enough to warrent buying.
Although knowing what I’m like I probably will, if not just so I can moan about it.
