Thanks to Occa for this find which I’ve just installed and it looks interesting.
This is an example screen shot of what Occa has currently:
http://users.kymp.net/p203080a/BF3/betterbattlelog.jpg – too wide for the img tags.
As you can see he’s got a TS viewer setup allowing you to quickly check who’s online, as well as a customised theme for battlelog.
If you like the look, download and find instructions from the link below, and if you need any help just ask.
http://getbblog.com/en/download
For the TS viewer the instruction thread can be found here: http://board.getbblog.com/viewtopic.php?f=22&t=748&p=3838#p3838
However all you need to do is go here: http://pun1a.net/bblog_plugins/GenerateTSViewerURL.html and add the following details (for XDC TS):
Server IP: 85.236.100.27
TS3 Port: 10727
Query Port: 20274
Click on the generate button, and you’ll be given a link inside a new box. Copy this link, then when you load battlelog, on the top left (beside “HOME”) there’s a BBLog options button, so click there.
Now here you’ll see a list of recent updates and forum threads which you can keep an eye on, but check along the top (beneath where the BBLog options button was), and going left to right you’ll see several buttons – Cloud, Themeswitch, Plugins, BChat, and Teamspeak.
I don’t know what they all do yet, but to get the TSviewer working, select the Plugins button, and then the “Add Own Plugin” button. A box will appear where you simply paste the link you copied a short while ago, and next time you refresh battlelog you’ll see the TS server of you choice on your BL homepage.
I guess themeswitch is where you customise your appearance, and Cloud is where I think you save the better battlelog settings you’ve configured, so you can load from other computers.
Not a necessary wee toy, but some will like it.
