finally got signed in for this….it wouldn’t accept wildegggtamer so in the end went for General_smutt ………. i doubt i’l ever use that name but if you see it on the screen with the XDC tags….please don’t kick me 😉

BTW … anyone know what the icon next to Turks and Vonsmall is for? It’s a little black camera looking thing with a yellow border, on the stats/ranking leaderboard in BFHQ when you filter for buddies….

You are a lot better off with the veteran status than without it, all future ranks you get a rank’s milestone early, saving you time on the hard grind to Supreme Commander because you dont have to get another 50 hours worth of points 😉
Yeah…I signed up for this as well…never received any such upgrade, BF2 icon, ect.

Wet – I think veteran status is conferred on your EA login name, so your can create other BF player profiles who will all have the 2 icon. Thats what I did – couldnt register using Wipers, so used Wypers instead. When I logged in for the first time I created a new profile called Wipers and it worked! I don’t think I got the extra ranks but you earn them in a day anyway.
Try it! It wont be the same without the eggtamer!
It took about 5 minutes but I finally managed to blag my way past the confusing registration screens to be a veteran.
The great thing is I had to do it under a different player name so the half hour I spent sending out buddy requests is probably wasted…
And I still hate the game. Only bought it cos I missed you guys. Fucking gheys.
