Oh and before you got logged out I was wondering whether a frame like the one you have atm could be used below the forums as you almost had initially?
no i had my text too big on webpages . pressed ctrl and scrolled out one click and it fits perfect .
On our shitty monitors in work, it also displays in the bottom corner, like in Line’s screenshot. Not sure how many others would be in the same boat, but it’s certainly a problem without a widescreen setup.
how do you close the chat window btw? I opened it twice because it didn’t work first time and it created a new pane within the already reduced pane, try opening it twice and you’ll see, but I had no way of closing the first pane so gave up.
I think what you’re describing is what happens when you don’t follow Andy’s instructions to open the link in a new window. If you open the link from within a frame, it’ll open the chat page within that frame, leaving the original chat in it’s original frame, and you’ll end up with a chat frame and forum frame within what should only be a forum frame. This doesn’t cause a problem if you don’t follow the instruction initially, since we’ve essentially got one frame operating as default on the forums, but when you open it twice or more, like a muppet, you’ll have trouble.
Oh and you can’t close the chat frame while on the test chat page.
