Dont know if any of you have played RA2 or not, but it was a very good game until Generals came along and dumbed everything down, and most importantly! removed naval warfare!

Been waiting for them to return to my favouraite series 🙂 not fussed with the tiberian wars future thingy. lol
Out of interest does anyone have Red Alert 2? as I do lol, wonder if it will still works online

Oh man generals was so shit, was just a gimmick! They made a RTS and put the C & C title on it to sell – it was nothing like the other C & C ‘s and it was shite too. Tiberian was pretty good, this should be smart too 😀
Looking at the trailer it looks like a lot of the really good stuff in RA2 has been kept and the side bar is coming back! yay!.

Kanes Wrath is an expansion for CNC3: Tiberian Wars and is part of the GDI vs NOD storyline
Red Alert is basically NATO vs RUSSIAN’s but with some wierd twisted bits to it. also 3rd faction in the game called LAND OF THE RISING SUN to pitch in.
Comes out in October.
Was it generals or Company of Heroes you played Insane? generals is very easy and dumbed down from what Red Alert 2 was and Red Alert 3 should be. CoH is very hard and requires alot of micro management.
I used to play both.. generals with you if you remember 🙂
Me and Micro Management dont mix, which is why I dont really like em 🙁
well i played it for about 10 mins and thought WTF? Graffix seem to be anime style or something… doesnt feel right, it just looks bad!…. maybe the gameplay will make up for it .. i wont hold my breath tho.
Ive loved most of the CnC stuff but this feels like a step or two back. Should have guessed summat was up when I saw Tim Curry playin a Russian General or Premier in the cut scenes!Def a TBYB IMO!

Red Alert has always looked like this…
Pretty fun so far, Co-Op for the campaign missions looks like it would be alot of fun.
