Well it’s happened to me 🙁 Feckers got hold of my card details and used it to gamble online 🙁 Spent over £700 🙁 Fortunately the credit card company spotted the transactions and blocked them all and contacted me to let me know what had happened. I immediately went online where my cards are stored in various places and deleted them all. A word of warning, don’t store credit card details online, it could be you next. 🙁

Someone once tried to use my credit card to spend £1090 on beauty products at an online store based in Hong Kong 😕

Thankfully nothing was paid and i received an atomated call to ask if the transactions were mine.

Funny thing was the credit card was new and i hadn’t even used it. So even if you don’t use your card online you may still want to keep an eye on your statements.

Someone took £100 off a credit card of mine a few years back. The bank didn’t spot it so when I mentioned it to them, I had to sign a statement saying I didn’t spend the money and after a couple of days with the fraud people, they gave me the money back.

As a consumer (I am not a consumer, thankyou), I am not bothered by credit fraud. It gets spotted, you get your money back. Simple.
