Hard to say mate, but as any character you create is linked to the ID file/CD Key for the game you might find a “public” version will already have been used or blocked. The only thing that could happen for trying though is a blacklisted IP I suppose 🙂
In a bit of a pickle, I had to do a quick log out to get some stuff done, when i re logged back in I was unconcious and a shed load of zombies kicking the feck outta me, as a result i’m down to 2500 blood and a broken bone without any morphine.
I’m NE of Zybor, just ready to hit the NW airfield, if anyone can lend any assistance. I don’t really wanna die as I’m pretty well stocked, just no blood or morphine. 🙁
Just for the record btw, the chopper we saw today was hacked in, and I imagine the gear was too. The choppers are not in the current game so the only way to get them in is to hack them in. This probably explains the volume of awesome gear they had as well as why they didn’t bother their arse to go and recover their loot from the dead bodies. The weapons we have are legit in game weapons so we won’t get banned for using hacked gear.
After a bit of time on the forums tonight, it appears there are invisibility hacks too, which would explain what happened to me and Chris tonight too. All in all, avoid US 52 server it appears that the admin are using hacks.
yeah, I did mention that it’s funny you found a heli down when they were apparently taken outta the game.
That said, you’re gonna have to prise the gear I found outta my cold dead hands.
There were all sorts of shenanigens happening on that server, Matt, Chris and myself heard the heli in the distance, Chris got slotted and the bandit DC’d.
P.S oh btw Max ,you still have that M16? I picked up 4 or 5 STANAG mags. 🙂
Think we need to pick a server and start hoarding shit, I know theres all sorts of ways we can lose it, but better than getting killed and starting again.

They took the choppers/ghillie suit functionality/L85A2 AWS and something else as they were not functioning as they should.
They are going to go back in, just this particular patch they’ve been left out (to test server stability or something). Me and beer found the chopper last night, it has been shot out the air. There was a dead wookie next to it, with a 24 slot backpack, full of the best gear as well as the best silenced weapons, with tons of mags. The item hack that you can do spawns a box with 100 of each item in the game next to you, that explains the chopper and perfect gear. He also had a camo outfit which I’ve got but am wary about putting on.
There was 6 bodies 150m away too, all with good gear, potentially hacked in too. I managed to get the M4A1 Acog SD (silenced) with 7 mags. Gave one to beer last night as he picked up the same gun. I got NVG, GPS, 24slot backpack etc and have a DMR in my bag (which works with NVG for night sniping fun). I actually went on 3-4 hours later and the bodies and crashed chopper were still there. Had I had the parts, I could have repaired it and flew it out of there. Prob best not to fix and fly a hacked chopper though.
Not going back on the server though.
Regarding hoarding gear, we really need a vehcile or tents to set up a base.
We def. need a base of operations! The amount of us that play it, would store a lot of gear and speed up game time when we get killed
I got this last night. First life consisted of me running up the coast in the dark looking for stuff. Found a zombie run away from him found another in the next town and dead 😛
Next life i spawned just outside elecktro (sp) fumbled about in the dark found a hatchet!! YES!! had to hack my way out as the sun come up. Retreated to the hill found a barn with a shotgun shot one just for the hell of it and holed up in the barn.Pretty good so far once i get more into how everything works and where to look for xxxx item then ill be loving it.
