just had a 2 week audio bender listening to these 2 audio books at every opportunity.. find myself volunteering to do the dishes.. by hand
these are both amazing books if you have not across them before. they are written for geeks by a geek. they are set slightly in future and the idea being that a famous ‘mad genius’ game designer (this world of war craft / battlefield (one the plot devices is a Monte Casino BF style map)) has died and on his death a virus / deamon programme he wrote is unleashed which quickly starts causing havoc.
really realy compelling and great fun.. full of geeky references with all the right worlds used in all the right places and skirts nicely with plausibility
