First impression of BF3 Expansion, pretty much as above only with head up my arse
Its hectic to say the least
I like the Gun Master bit, only sucks if you join a game where everyone has a macjone gun, suppose its a challenge
there is a lot of rage on the forums, not exactly a surprise. im looking forward to playing it a bit tonight. looks frantic and a change of pace from the base bf maps. not sure on its longevity but with CQ maps mixed with regular maps i can see it being good fun.
FFS EA, could have started my download for me whilst I was away from my computer, oh no, I have to log out and then back in and wait for fecking ages whilst it downloads….

Not for me! I think the maps are sweet, great detail but the game play is not my cup of tea far to hectic and a little to much like COD.
Something I will play occassionally, think the maps will be very good for squad death match but thats it for me as far as that goes, I prefer to chase around huge maps 😉
Have to say I agree with Paddy. They could be fun with a few mates like 4 v 4, but too cartoony for my liking.
played about 3 hours last night and i was having a very high ping so the experience wasnt great. will try again this evening and see if it improves.
playing on a 64 player map was manic, all the time. people have said that 16 or 32 player max is far better. i can see it being really fun for a short period of time when mixed with other maps and game types but i dont thik it something i would want to play all the time. its very COD like, which isnt a bad thing but i prefer the larger maps

I reckon you are right there Steve, they are pretty good with limited players on them. Already found myself going back to oriiginal maps.

Ha I noticed, I didnt know wtf I had got into as I only pressed the play button next to your name, I’ll make sure I look next time before I do so again 🙂
Gun game is good fun for shits and kickers. Its not something you want to play for score hording tho.
Double xp this weekendgot the come 5th or higher in gun game part of one of the assignments done last night. played on 16/24 player servers and the experience was much better. less being shot in the back and being blocked in doorways by enemies. and my ping was back down to 15 or so which made the whole experience better
