Anyone caught this over there yet looks like your getting it on BBC 4?
Some one told me about it so I watched it last night, not going to change the world but pretty funny none the less. Heartily recommended for fans of random comedy.
Billing themselves as “Formerly New Zealand’s fourth most popular guitar-based digi-bongo acapella-rap-funk-comedy folk duo”. A musical duo who try to cut it as rap stars (among other things) by calling themselves The Rhymenocerous and The HipHopotomous ..brilliant.

Yeah, I listened to them when they had a series on Radio4. I was impressed but Tess thought it was a big pile of shit.
Good job I’m here to tell you how wrong she is 😀They are quite genius in parts, though their show is pretty lame for the majority. If they stuck to their songs it would be better. I watched a documentary they did about going to the south by southwest festival and they did a showcase in the New Zealand tent and were drowned out by the Australian goth rock band in the tent next door which was then part of a sketch in their show. Not sure if it made it funnioer or not though!
Worth a check for the songs, not the straight up comedy stuff IMHO
Haven’t heard the Radio show just seen one of the TV show, it’s true the songs make it but I thought the show was ace…seeing as I’ve only seen one I’m maybe easily sold it’s just nice to see a bit of NZ talent that doesn’t revolve around Rugby, Sheep farming or bleeding Crowded House.
