Reet.. cant say I’ve asked a technical question on ere before (not that I remember anyhoos) so thought I’d ask one I’ve been pondering for sometime
Ok I have the faultless and very shit hot burner that is the Pioneer DVR-111D
Ok my question.. I was wondering if the burner would work as good as it does in an IDE stylie if I were to pop it in an external case and use via USB/IEEE1994?

Should do, I have been using a hitachi drive I popped into a external for about 6 months now and I haven’t had any probs with it at all apart from constant dusting.
yeah .. ive had an LG ide jobbie in a cheapo usb case for a couple of years.. has been fabo.. never had any issues..
