it’s immensly buggy, i still don’t know all the objectives, i get killed a shit lot……..but i’m loving this mod, i think it has huge potential. There is a patch due anytime soon that is gonna fix a lot of the bugs and improve performance.
Add me to steam friends, i lost all my existing friends when that fucknugget hyjacked my account. 🙁
Only played a bit.. my mouse sensitivitys is uber slow for this game.. had to change it in options to make it faster.. which I found to be odd
its a scarey game.. you can walk round a corner and your dead.. makes you jump but annoys the fuck outa ya too
I dont know the objectives or what yoour supposed to do but had potential
just need the RO lean and steady icon for corners and sandbags and its all good 🙂
With Beta 2 just out I wondered if there were any more views on this (coz I value the XDC collective opinion so highly).
I suppose we’re a bit spolied for choice atm so I’m guessing mods like this take a backseat….happy days.

Not posted in awhile seeing as my personal life is pretty hectic atm; I think Im getting headhunted for a Linux sysadmin gig with the biggest webhost in denmark!This mod is a breath of fresh air tbh. I play it every chance I get ^^
Compared to the BF games it’s like.. in BF you go diving with all the gear – wetsuit, diving watch, airtanks etc. the whole nine yards.. whereas in Insurgency you’re underwater, bare arsed with nothing but a straw in your mouth with sharks in the water 😀
No gadgets, crosshair or any shit like that.. You push to conquer waypoints and if you don’t use the ingame voice or TS to coordinate you’re screwed.
And you die alot compared to BF but it’s soo intense! And it gets better when you get to know the maps better 🙂
The soundscape ingame is one of the best I’ve ever experienced.. the guns sound beefy and you KNOW when someone is letting rip with an assault rifle! Not to mention the yank LMG.. it’s soo scary to hear that thing clattering away in the distance!
The soundscape and the sheer intensity of it makes it a very good game IMO ^^
