Has anyone been watching this?
Im not sure whether I like it or am irritated by it… bit of both I think.
Basically our heroes live in a little village and nukes are going off all over the place. Its sickeningly pro American… and has annoying plasticy fat kids saying stupid things. But the concept is quite interesting – in an “on the beach” type way.
Yeah, I’ve been watching this with tess but have fallen an episode or two behind on the sky+
I think I’m still watching it because I like the premise behind the programme, but overall the actual storylines have been somewhat disappointing.
yeah, i’ve watched the 1st part of the series, before xmas, and then it’s just returned to the regular line up in the states last week, it’s pretty good, albiet a bit slow, but this weeks episode made it wait worth while…..obviously i’ll not include spoilers 😛

It has an intriguing storyline, though I am irritated by the way it looks like an 80s series
Theres a fucking annoying fat kid who keeps cropping up… last time was when the pylon made the school catch fire. I think they need to expose him to some nuclear rays.
He might turn in to an Uber human being and save the world – worth the risk I would say!
Make sure they dont burn you a few copies of the same episode – that would be silly…
Ideally they should get you a few in order… then you get to see it as it progresses.

seems like another carrot dangle series that has a tiny plot that will be cunningly diluted and then milked infinitum without ever moving the plot along and will never reach a conclusion until season 7. Woohoo we can make another few billion in advertsing revenue for fuck all.
watched 2 episodes ….struggled to stay awake. The black guy’s american accent is shocking.

No way can u include prison break m8 – its awesome… and I dont see how they could make series 3 anyway… could they??
The black guy is Sol.. or whatever he is called from Snatch/Lockstock… cant remember which one…

24 is the best series ever.. pisses on Lost, PB, Heroes, and lots more!
Its one of the only series I have to watch the next episode str8 away as I cant wait a week to see what happens!

Im stuck at 4pm on the first series – we were watching it as a family and I had to go back to uni, and they fucking carried on without me…. could have waited the 3 months – bastards!
The best series ever was Band of Brothers – hands down.
None of this faffing around “oh… looks like the shows popular, lets add another series”… short, sweet and to the point.

Where did I say I didn’t like them? Jericho sucks but for the others I was merely comparing their somewhat formulaic composition. 🙂 It’s more about milking the brand than it is about reaching a conclusion.
Couldn’t make a 3rd series? that’s a joke right?
