Hello again! It’s me, Jimmy Hill!
Just wanted to pop by to XDC and say how good it was to see so many people on the server this Sunday. Lot’s of good gameplay was seen, here’s a quick rundown on what was happening:
Well, a nice packed server was seen around 17:30 with only a couple of places left, filled with some of familiar faces. The ever keen MadMax was online, running around Sharqi with lots of energy, and in a surprise move was playing Medic. Much like the Welsh wonder Airmessy, who’s got a bright future in this game, just needs to put a few more hours in. Game stalwarts Badger and Wipers were online too, offering some good team leadership where required, and filling the gaps in an otherwise solid defence.
Team captains for the evening were Madhippy and CaptainUnderpants, ensuring that we had a nice clean game whilst dropping arty on everyone from a great height. Even McQueen showed his face on the server in the form of some cheeky support class action, and veteran AT man Queeks dropped by laying down some Eryx excitement for the crowd. A late showing by Ronathon on Wake Island was also a welcome surprise.
We also had a turn out from some of the site regulars and friends of XDC like Mr Fenix, Dodge180 and some foreigners.
Well that about wraps it up for my match report for Sunday night. I’ve probably missed out a few players, but I’m only relaying what Neon said, and he’d drunk some special brew and was suffering from blood loss.

But I thought “Good Game Good Game” was Bruce Forsyth’s catchphrase? Mind you, he and Jimmy could be twins separated at birth, I suppose 🙂
GG’s last night – until my sound freaked out a bit with BF2 playing random sounds from it’s repertoire mixed with some static and white noise. 😀

I was getting that aswell!! Ended up quitting the game 😥
Ah well at least it wasn’t just me then, thought I may have fecked up sound codec’s or something as I upgraded to WMP10 on Friday.
I’ve had a similar thing before where I got a looped sound of the high pitched whine from a flash-bang, but last night it was all sorts of wierd and wonderful sounds. A relog to the server sorted it for a bit, then it came back.
Odd thing is, to me, they sound like they’re being played via the VoIP.
Hello! It’s me again and I had to interrupt an important golf match I was playing against Kenny Lynch to quickly say that Mugsworth was there too.People often say to me “Jimmy, what’s your golf handicap?” And I always answer “My handicap is that I can’t play golf!” Although actually I’m a pretty good golfer. That was just a joke.
