Is it possible to disable the “back” function on my MX700 without adding all the gay software? Its also set for my TS button to talk, and its fucking irritating having to go back a page while chatting on TS and surfing (for porn!)

    Anyone?!

i dont think so no, i have the ms explorer and i use the back button for ts. but because i so rarely use ts except in games its not a real problem but i do agree that its a pain.

is there any reason that you dont want to install the logitech software?

Because it works perfectly well without, and Im not a fan of loading all the crap on which comes with hardware!

    Cheers anyway

The Logitech driver is much better for that mouse for the DPI alone. You don’t HAVE to install any “crap” like some of their other stuff.
I couldn’t use that mouse (in games) on the windows driver because of the crappy acceleration but with the logitech driver you can switch it off and then bind the buttons to any windows function you like. You also have to set the mouse wheel to “autoscroll” rather than “universal scroll” too I seem to remember.

Buy a Copperhead or Lachesis m8, cordless mice have no business playing 1st PS FACT 🙂

Sprog and I learned that lesson early on (not before I talked the fekker into spending 50 snots on it though…*ahem* soz bout that m8.

I hate corded mice! This one has served me very well these past 4 years…

In the habbit of not installing the stuff that comes with hardware – like the Maxtor external hd stuff, or sonys camcorder software – all utter tripe!

that is why you fail 🙂

let me see, doesn’t install the software designed and tested to work with the hardware….has most posts in tech support forum.

    seeing a pattern 🙂
